<p>When I look at the schools I am considering transferring to, some of them only offer a BA in Accounting. Most of the schools that only offer a BA in Accounting are private schools. Some of them say just a concentration in Accounting. Will I still be able to get a job as a accountant with just a concentration in Accounting? I also wanted to know if I will still be competitive with just a BA in accounting. Either way, I still plan on getting enough credits to sit for the CPA exam.</p>
<p>A Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting is basically the same thing as a Bachelors of Science in Accounting.</p>
<p>Doesn’t really matter. It’s become arbitrary to call something a BS or BA nowadays and I think most employers know this.</p>
