maxwell is known for its mpa/ir but would you pay 35k for a lesser known degree (master of social science- mssc)?

I wouldn’t live in Syracuse if someone paid me 35k… I don’t care what school is there. That place is a true dump.

it’s a limited residency program which requires two visits(two weeks each) to the campus.

Now that I am in grad school, one that is not the most highly esteemed I may add, I realize the importance of doing your masters level work in an environment where you have resources around you that will give you experience and enhance your knowledge.
In other words, make sure you go somewhere that has a lot of academic and professional organizations around yo to be involved in. A masters degree is a lot more than just a piece of paper saying you are smart… it can really be a door opener forever if you play your cards right.
