<p>Freshmen applicants- do they look at you and decide for university and then give you your choice or do they look at you in context of school you apply to. </p>
<p>They don’t assign you to a specific college within WashU. Once you’ve been admitted, you can choose to attend any of the colleges within the university. Having skills or qualifications specific to the college you want to attend can definitely benefit you.</p>

<p>That’s not true at all; you’re assigned to a specific college when you’re admitted. However, it’s easy to switch colleges at any time after being accepted. My understanding is that applicants are considered for the university overall, although specific college is taken into account when considering class size.</p>
