Is anyone on here actually taking it easy senior year (class of 2013)

I am.
My schedule is

Ap psych (may be dropped due to little enrollment)
Ap lit
Ap Econ/gov't
Gym
Prob and stats (may drop)
Teens and tots (in school daycare)

I'll be in school from 2nd to 5th and 2nd to 6th every other day :)
So it's 9am to 12. Or 9am to 12:40

nice chill schedule haha

nope. I think next year’s going to be the hardest one for me

Ive already exhausted my school’s resources so I’ll probably just take some classes at a local college and self-study what i plan to study at college. Since, the courses are supposedly easy (depending on how anal your professor is) you could its gonna be a chill independent study courseload.

AP Lit
AP Gov
AP Euro
French IV Honors
AP Stats
DC Biology
TA
Not any hard classes and a TA period so yes…only because I want to invest time in studying for SAT Math II and admission essays nothing wrong with taking it a lil bit easier than junior year right?

I plan to take:
AP Lit
AP Gov
AP Econ
AP Physics
AP Calc
AP Environmental Science or Human Geography or ap Spanish lang

Gosh no, next year will probably be the hardest in all my years of schooling! Gonna try and avoid any senoritis second semester too

Poster above: Are you serious? How are those not difficult classes–I mean sure they aren’t the hardest APs, but that’s still 4 APs. Does your school not assign you extra stuff with an AP? 'Cause for one of my APs this year I have like 15-20 pages of reading(with notes due the next day) every day, takes me like 2-3 hours daily. And that’s how it is for all of them…

AP Lit-read books…which I can do on the ride to school and home and booktalk and annonations and yeah…the most time consuming AP i’m taking
AP Gov-a chapter a week…takes me max 2-3 hours
AP Euro-a chapter a week…3 hours to read…3 hours to study the night before
AP Stats-compared to AP Calc this year, a walk in the park
not really a hard schedule…esp if i read the chapters during the weekend

AP Stats - sleep
AP Macro / Micro - talk about current events for the entire period
AP US / Comp Govt - rant about the US vs. Iran’s policies
AP Physics - talk to people all day
AP Lit - sleep
other classes - do college apps

haha let’s see if I can remember what I took in my senior year…

CP (College Prep) English Composition
Anatomy and Physiology
AP Government
Ap Art History
Calculus
AVID

Yep, I think that was it.

I followed the curriculum…I never wanted to take Ap Art History but AVID forced me to (I barely passed). I barely passed AP Gov but my teacher helped me out. I took it cuz I wanted the challenge. Senior year was pretty chill. Senioritis was definitely in the air. I pushed hard that year to get a 3.0 gpa so my SAT scores would get exempted lol. It all depends on you as a person and how much of a challenge you want and what college you want to apply to.

Man, if my senior year could be easy… unfortunately, I’m making the unfortunate decision to take AP chem AND physics C next year. Yay for overachieving … no.

Mine’s pretty light…Planning my schedule while signing up for five AP tests really made me feel like I never again want to experience a year like this. Ever. So I eased up.

AP Lit
AP Calc
AP Physics
Gov/Econ (regular)
Honors Spanish 4
TA

Before I was planning on AP Gov and APES instead of the TA but ahh well. Shouldn’t be too bad.

my schedule…nothing too tough, right? We only have 6 periods, though :/.

ap physics c (both the tests, though)
ap calc bc
ap lit
ap gov
ap music theory
ap psych (except I think I’m going to drop it because I’m taking a college class instead)

Me? I’m going all out with AP Lang,
Spanish 3,
orch,
AP Chem
Pre-cal/trigonometry
AP Government and Politics
And Economics

I shall lead the fight against seniorits soon…

lollollol no.

Between applying for colleges, plus working towards an IB diploma, extended essay, TOK presentation, IAs, and the majority of my IB exams, I’m going to be dead next year.

Nope.
AP Lit
Anatomy and Physiology
AP Micro (and Honors Civics)
AP Calc BC
Wind Ensemble
AP Physics C
and Microbiology at a flagship college

I think I am
AP Chem
AP Psych
AP Stat
AP BC
English (already maxed out APs for that)

Overall, I think these should not be too hard, especially since they’re all in things I’m good at. After dropping french, and being in psych, the easiest history, I’ll have so much more free time :)

May I ask? How will we deal with the coming (or already here) senioritis? What shall be our weapons of choice?

^ I have no cure whatsoever the spring fever thing happens to me every year. Kim at this point for example I’m basically done trying. I don’t do it on purpose but I have the attention span of a fish. My grades well grade in particular shows it.

****, these courses count as easy?

Percussion Ensemble
Jazz Band
Music Theory
Calculus
Forensic Science
Mystery, Horror, and Sci-Fi/Film Studies (1 semester each)
Global Citizenship (1 semester)
My last semester is either going to be PE or an open, not sure.
