I'm just curious who here plans on attending Binghamton in the Fall of '08.
Because, for me, as long as the finances work out, I am most likely attending!

It is currently my first choice.

=D
I'm just hoping I end up there in the Fall, because I know Albany gives more money, and my parents are looking at the finances a little more than I am. And well, I think that Binghamton would be better. I've heard Albany is a party school, it's ugly, and just.... I want to go to Bing, god damnit.

Try emphasizing the party atmosphere at Albany to the parents, I am willing to bet they don't want to be spending money for you to go to clubs and get wasted :) play up the better aspects of Bing and talk about summer jobs and such to help them offset the difference in cost.

I would probably go if I was accepted into their School of Management...

95 GPA
680M
620CR
630W

Binghamton is my top choice, and I'm 80% sure I'm going. =)

To Play-Doh,
That's exactly what I plan on doing. I'm going to tell them that Bing would be safer, and a better use of the money. And that because it's more prestiguous than Albany, it could help me get into a better medical school, thus get a better residency, so thus it would help my future career as a doctor.

And if I'm going to be happier there, since it's prettier, and with smarter people and whatnot, then it's worth the rather insignificant couple thousand dollars. It's not like we're talking a difference of hundreds of thousands.

And plus, they're my college loans. It's MY college education. I should have a SAY in where I end up.

But regardless, what's meant to be, will be.
That's my philosophy.

Didn't mean for that to rhyme.

Yup, it's my first choice. I am just hoping that I get an acceptance letter/email soon...

Yeah, a letter via snail mail or even an email would make it feel more real, if that makes sense.
