<p>Should I list it under the extracurricular portion of my commonapp even if it's already on my transcript? It's technically a class with a grade, but everyone gets an A anyway as far as I can tell. It's less of a class but more of an outside-of-school thing, but it's still a class...I'm confused.</p>

<p>Yes, anything music-related like band, orchestra, or choir counts as an EC because the out-of-class commitment is huge.</p>
<p>Wind Ensemble for me is a class, with a few after school practices before concerts. I count it as an EC because (besides the fact that there are after school practices) my school actually counts it as an EC when charging for them! I mean, if I have to pay for it, it’s damn well going on my app.</p>
