<p>May 1st has passed, the title says it all. Is Cornell going to the waitlist this year?</p>

<p>There's no way they could know yet! I'm sure they have to wait at least a week into May in order to make sure they've received all mailed acceptances/denials. You have no way of knowing what any college is going to do yet. Usually people hear back from waitlists at the beginning of June.</p>
