I want to make sure that a will be able able get into med-school after undergrad, I saw that they have a pre prof. major for pre-med but I was just wondering if anyone know it they have a good rate at getting kids into med school, also if I go pre-med would I be able to go to school on the lincoln center campus becuase the only reason I would go to fordham over other universities is becuase it is in NYC and I'm not sure if I can get into NYU. Can anyone help me out here??

Fordham is strong for pre-med-- the program is at Rose Hill. Lincoln Center has a few science classes, however, the main "core" of the pre-med program is at Rose Hill (you can technically go to LC but it wouldn't make too much sense b/c you'd be travelling back and forth from manhattan to the bronx very often). The program is extremely difficult-- it's probably harder than at other universities because not only do you have to take the rigorous science classes you also have to fulfill Fordham's core curriculum. You have to make absolutely sure that science is your strong point before you enter the program. If you do well, however, you most likely will not have any problem going into med school-- most med schools, I imagine, know of Fordham's many, many difficult requirements. Also, you would be considered a very well-rounded applicant to med-school-- something that you can't get at other schools without a core curriculum.

thanx, I think Fordham is a great school and I would really love to go there but idk if i would if it would be hard to live at Lincoln Center because then i would just go to like Rutgers or UNC or a good state school that actually has thier own med-school
