Is Georgetown still requiring SAT subject tests for fall applicants?

I’ve heard a lot of schools are dropping subject test requirements because of the corona virus. These are a strict requirement at Georgetown, wondering if that will change? And whether I should still take them if they drop the requirement.

Subject tests have never been a strict requirement at Georgetown, they are recommended. Last year, they also allowed applicants to substitute in AP tests for Subject tests.

Georgetown has not yet made any changes to what the policy was for class of 2020, but obviously could change things for class of 2021, especially if more testing dates get cancelled.

Periodically go to their website and check: https://uadmissions.georgetown.edu/applying/preparation-process/#

I noticed reading the Georgetown decision threads that students were admitted who didn’t even take the SAT subject tests. My son had good scores, including 800 on US History and was rejected. They told us at the Gtown info session that they reject half the applicants with perfect SAT scores. It is hard to get in there, but I suspect a little easier if you are geographically desirable rather than from a populous state with many high stats kids.
