Is Georgetown Your #1?

Wow, 22... Stereotypical CCer

Also, anyone get this impression that princetonians are all arrogant and pompous. I know somone who just had an interview for Princeton and the guy treated his daughter and wife like slaves. Also, Donald Rumsfeld went to Princeton, he seems to typify the attitude there, even though I like him. Also, their strange selective eating clubs, bickering, i think it is called. I don't know, just seems to be a pattern.

I think that is the typical opinion of someone who doesn't know much about the school. A few of those things are true but I think the general stereotype is greatly exaggerated. It's not a school for everyone, of course, but I don't think it's fair to say that ALL princetonians are pompous and arrogant.

some are and some arent, remeber that ralph nader is an alum, sometimes though the arrogant ones leave a very bad taste in the mouth and lead to a bad impression

Heck, I would be very inclined to attend Princeton if I got in- how can you pass up an opportunity like that?

I didn't apply, though, because I would never get in. :o

Curious Zante, do you go there? How do YOU know so much more about it than we do?

calidan-- i would pass it up, I think...Princeton or Georgetown, something in me likes Georgetown better...

brenner - when you say all princetonians are pompous and arrogant, are you talking about the students only? i get the impression you are talking about the entire town, which is definitely very off. i'm from princeton, and there are a lot of really awesome people. of course, like any other wealthy town, there are some very pretentious people, but there is an eclectic mix. you can basically meet anyone there.
