Is it alright to take two subject tests in the same "category"?

I'm planning on retaking the Subject Tests sometime next year since I did disgustingly terrible on the June tests (which I am not surprised because I was mainly studying for the ACT, which was the week after).

I took the Literature, US History, and Math 1. My scores were all in the 600's, except for math (I didn't study at all for math; I literally decided to take another test because I had an hour to kill).

But some of the schools I want to apply to require two SAT II's, so I need to retake them and get a 700+. However, here is my dilemma. I would probably be most prepared to take the US History and Literature come November. Will it look "bad" if I submit two scores from two "Arts & Humanities" subject tests?

Also, I should probably add that I’m going to study English and Literature, so it’s not as if I’m applying to any Science/Math-related programs in college.

What is your predicted major? Schools often give certain requirements for certain majors/schools you’re applying to. Check over the college/school’s requirements - often, they will say that one of your tests should be in math.

As long as none of your colleges or programmes require a math test, and if you are applying as a prospective humanities or social sciences major, then you’re fine.

Dude we took the exact same tests. Crazy.

To answer your question, nah it’s not
gonna matter.
