Is it easier to get into BC by transferring from Holy Cross?

I didn’t get into BC so I’m thinking about trying to transfer in after freshman year. Can anyone speak to how much harder/easier it is to transfer into BC in general, and to apply from Villanova or Holy Cross in particular? I know VU and HC are common safeties, so I’m wondering if its actually harder to get into BC as a transfer from those schools than it would be from another place. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

I got into BC as well as Holy Cross and I personally think Holy Cross is the better school. But then again it depends on what programs you are looking at.

it will definately help coming from another respectable Jesuit institution such as Holy Cross

Similar to BC, Holy Cross has one of the lowest transfer out statistics (5%)largely because once students get enrolled at the school they tend to fall in love with it. They both have 91% 4 year graduation rates.

That said, excellent performance at HC will be given high marks since the schools are run by the same Jesuit New England province. Holy Cross's current president taught at BC for years.
