Is it easy to transfer out of DePaul?

I'm a senior in high school and was wait listed from UIUC. I'm thinkingps of going to DePaul for a year if I don't get accepted. I want to double major in Biology and Psychology and was wondering my if my first year credits would transfer easily into UIUC if I were to go to DePaul and transfer. I looked on that transfer u.select website but I don't really understand how it works. DePaul goes on a trimester system and UIUC is a semester system.but would really like to graduatefrom UIUC. (I got accepted to UIC and Northern Illinois as well and i know it would be easier to teansfer from there but but I feel that the caliber of DePaul is better.)

PS -I'm typing this from my phone so please excuse grammar and spelling mistakes. Some words might be autocorrected as well.

I know a person who transferred from DePaul to Dartmouth and another one who transferred to University of Michigan.

The school you are transferring from barely matters, if at all, unless it’s a Stanford or MIT or Ivy or something.

Focus on getting as high of a college GPA as possible. Consider retaking SAT/ACT if you scored poorly before. Also, try to get some sort of leadership position on campus. My freshman year of college I was able to run for hall government, and I won because I was the only person who even ran for that position.
