Is it hard to get into UCSB?

<p>I want to go to UCSB i live in CA but i just want to know is it hard? What kind of grades do you need? Do your grades have to be perfect? </p>

<p>Ish. It depends on what kind of student you are.
The people I know that go there had 3.4-3.8s usually. Don’t really take any difficult classes. High 500s, low 600s in SATS, around a 25 in the ACT.
In my experience, that is the “average” person at my school who goes to UCSB, a strong student, but not stellar.
There, of course, are exceptions, though.</p>
