is it necessary that I should take AP economics exams in May 2009?

<p>My school does not offer AP Economics. But it lets me take Economics 101/102 at a state university for school year 2008-2009. is it necessary that I should take AP economics exams in May 2009? Will taking AP exams in MAY give any benefit to my college adminission?</p>

<p>Most likely not. I wouldn't bother taking it. You might get credit for it but it's pathetically easy so most schools probably don't care that you got a 5. AP scores aren't that big of a deal in admissions.</p>
