Is it necessary to identify an intended major in order to get admitted to CAS, or is it OK to say undecided?
If you say undecided, is the admissions office likely to say the applicant is a better candidate for LSP?
Assuming your grades, test scores etc are in the right range, the answers to the above will probably very much depend on what you write in your “why NYU” essay.
