Is it possible to accept college offer on the day of the daedline?

I am an international student,
and I am wondering if it is okay to accept college offer on May/1st (deadline).
Suppose that I am considering between college A and B.
Id like to go to college B but its so expensive, and I asked them for financial support.
They said, after I fill out the financial application, they would able present my appeal to the Scholarship Committee on Monday.
The thing is, that is the deadline day for the college A…

Is it possible to accept college offer on the day of the deadline??

Yes - the only danger of course is if this has to be done online, the website might crash on May 1st from high traffic.

If B is not requiring you to commit by May 1 (e.g. they extended the deadline for you because they are recalculating Fin Aid or something) then you can always commit to A and then withdraw if B becomes feasible. You just can’t commit to both.

B’s deadline is may 21st,
if I withdraw, would i get my money back??

If you send a deposit to a school you should expect that you will not get your deposit back.

The housing portion of a deposit is usually refundable, The enrolment portion of the deposit is non-refundable.

Contact B on Monday and tell them you need to know. This is a common scenario so they would get it.

College B informed me that they would able to tell me about the scholarship on Monday for sure, I was just worried if I can’t send a deposit to a school on the day of its deadline.

If you are in communications with admissions at college A there should be little problem requesting a several day extension “beyond the deadline” with good cause. It doesn’t do them any good to obtain your commitment a few days earlier and then a withdrawal when you hear from school B. I don’t think this will fly if you just say you can’t make up your mind yet.
