I got a 35 on my ACT; is it worth it to retake my SAT I (2080) or should I now put greater focus on getting 750+ on at least two SAT-II's (as I have none as of now)?

I'd check and see what the colleges to which you'll apply require. Some don't require SAT-II's if you submit the ACT instead of the SAT.

Congrats, by the way!

I think you should focus more on the SAT IIs, because some colleges will take an ACT score instead of an SAT score (not all though) You have a very solid SAT I score, but your ACT score is much more competitive and nearly unbeatable (if i compared ACTs and SATs, i'd say a 35 on the ACT is like a 2300 on the SAT)

Congrats on your ACT score. I wouldn't bother retaking the SAT I if the colleges you are applying to will accept the ACT. Like CLeighDrie said, check to see if the colleges you are considering requires SAT II's with a ACT score, and if they do, then focus your efforts on the SAT II's

Thanks for the congratulations, and I agree that focusing on SAT-II's can benefit me more than focusing on SAT-I, but I'm afraid if I do not retake the SAT-I, when certain schools (Yale, Stanford and Princeton in particular) recieve my score report, the 2080 may harm my chances.

I guess the question is if it would be worth the effort to bring the 2080 up to, say, a 2200+.
