So like people have been saying on the other thread…the attitude of “not caring” about grades can bite back. Eventually it won’t just be housing opportunities but whether further education is open to you…where you have to move in order to find jobs that you are competitive for…

I hope you can see why these next few semesters might be your chance to really improve.

That housing is really pricey, off campus apt might be cheaper.

But as a sophomore you can take out $6,500 in loans, as a junior $7,500. And you can work to earn money in the summer and during breaks. So you should be able to pay the bulk of the living expenses yourself. Less loans for your parents.
