Is it too late to show demonstrated interest?

I visited campus a few weeks ago and thought that the place would be the perfect place for me to go. Would it help if I sent an e-mail to a counselor or admissions office explaining my interest towards the school and that I would matriculate if accepted? I also applied RD if that changes things.

Yes I think that would help a lot if you are on the edge.

Is this also true for auditioned programs such as music?

When I applied as an applicant for the class of 2019, I sent a letter of continued interest. I don’t think it would hurt.
