Is it true?

I heard somewhere that U of M sends out scholarship notifications until April 15 for the following fall semester. I already received my "official" financial aid notice, and there were no scholarships on it- only grants, work study, and loans. Is there still hope to receive some sort of scholarship?

When we were at Admitted Students Day a few weeks ago the FA guy told everyone that most of the merit had already been sent out…

MD2017, I don’t know about U of M because my DD is on the waitlist, but at all of the universities she’s been accepted to, any scholarships were listed along with her loans on her Fin Aid letter, so I’m guessing what you got is all that you will get. However, a grant really isn’t any different than a scholarship, is it? You don’t have to pay it back, so that’s awesome. And you are also lucky about work-study - we were so hoping for that with my DD, but she’s gotten none, only loans.
