well like i said on another thread, i'm getting more and more scared that i won't get into my first choice major (screenwriting) but i feel like i should have an excellent chance of getting into my second choice (english) cuz it's just clas. so is it likely? i mean, do all sca-rejected applicants get an equal chance at their second choice major as other students who listed it as their first choice or is there a disadvantage?

Wondering this too. My second choice major was in CLAS as well.

They will evaluate your app along with all other undeclared/CLAS applicants, so if your grades/SATs and ECs, essay, etc are just what they are looking for, you will be accepted. No ding for having placed SCA first choice.

^Thanks! That’s really good to know. :)

oh good! thats a relief. thanks!

This is good to know. :D

yeah i also put a really hard science major…and undecided as my second choice. i really hope i get into my second choice now lol eek
