Is it worth it? - An International Student

Hi y’all!

I’m an international student looking to apply to the University of Alabama.

I have a 3.1 GPA, 3.4 weighted and 1840 SAT Score, of which CR+Math is 1210, although I am taking it again next month.
I also have a ton of extra curriculars, including choir, theatre, volunteer work, speech and debate, rowing and a couple more.

Is it worth applying with these statistics, and am I likely to be accepted?

Thank you so much in advance for taking the time to reply to this.

Sure…you will get accepted. Your stats are fine. Welcome!

@Mom2collegekids Awesome, thank you so much! The only other question that I had is would I be eligible for any scholarships?

.

A first-time freshman student who meets the December 15 scholarship priority deadline, has a 27 ACT or 1210–1240 SAT score (critical reading and math scores only) and at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA will be selected as a Capstone Scholar and will receive $14,000 over four years ($3,500 per year).

The above is the lowest scholarship and you just miss the GPA req’t. :(

How much will your parents pay for college?

My parents are willing to totally pay for college, but I just wanted to make it that little bit easier on them. Thanks for the help!

Oh good! Then you’ll be fine! apply and you’ll be accepted soon!
