Is it worth it to take the SAT a third time

<p>I took the SAT in May of my junior year, got 1790 (580 math 650 writing 560 cr 9 essay). I took a very b.s.-y SAT prep course this summer over 3 weeks and retook the test in Oct. Got 1790 again (580 math 620 writing 590 cr 10 essay). I was expecting around a 1900 at least :( Would it be worth it to take the SAT on Dec 1? My ideal like perfect score would be 2000.</p>

<p>I think it’s worth it to get in that 3rd time. I did personally and went up by almost 100 from my 2nd time with no prep, although I wouldn’t recommend that of course! With prep though would obviously be better ;D</p>

<p>A third time, you can do! But not more than thrice, coz your application may look bad.</p>
