Took the SAT in December of my junior year and got 1850.

Took SAT again in May of junior year and got 2150 with 730/740/680.

Should I try again and take the SAT a third time? I'm not sure how much I would be able to raise it by since I usually am very unlucky with identifying vocabulary on the CR. I usually miss one or two math questions. I am basically a grammar Nazi and ace the multiple choice section of the writing, but my essays are horrible. I can't write anything in 25 minutes that's above a 6.

So should I take the SAT one last time before I apply to colleges? I'm looking at LACs such as Bryn Mawr, Grinnell, Middlebury, Carleton, and Barnard. There's also a few universities I'm looking at such as UT Austin (in-state), Vanderbilt, Northwestern, and WashU. Are there any merit scholarships that would have a cutoff at 1500 meaning that my 1470 would doom me?

I am taking 5 AP classes this year and I would prefer to do well in those. I just don't know if admissions would give more weight to keeping up with rigorous classes or a possible increase in my SAT score.
