Is my ACT score better than SAT?

I just got back my September ACT scores. I received a 30, and this was my first time taking it.

Last year, I took the SAT for a total of 3 times, and my superscore is a 2000 (800 M, 570 CR, 630 W)

I know a 30 on the ACT and a 2000 are essentially equivalent, but is my ACT better since it covers up the fact that I am not as strong in reading or should I submit the SAT because of the 800 in math? I would have to submit all 3 of my SAT tests to get to that 2000 superscore.

For what it’s worth, I want to apply ED to Wake Forest.

What are the subscores? I am applying to Wake RD with a 31 for CS

@cappex 26 E, 33 M, 28 R, 33 S. I believe they cannot see the subscores though for the ACT unless you decide to superscore it, I could be wrong though. I’m also interested in CS at Wake, that’s why I’m hoping my high math scores will help.

@jetslife08 Schools will see the sub scores on the ACT Report.

Here is a link to what the College report looks like: http://www.act.org/aap/infosys/report/

@HereToHelpYou Sorry if this is a dumb question…my son has not taken the ACT yet. But where and when does the report get all of the extra self-reported data and interest inventory info? Do the students fill that out before they begin the test or maybe when they register? That is a pretty comprehensive report…

@uwalummom, they fill the information out when the register for it. My D skipped a lot of it I believe.

Thank you @suzy100 I couldn’t imagine how stressful that would be to fill out an interest inventory right before the test starts!

As stated above, yes that information is recorded at the time of regisistration.

It can also be updated at any time.
