You need to work on your writing…proofing your grammar, punctuation, etc., especially for your application essay. I have not kept up with SFSU. If SFSU is not an “impacted” school or the major you are applying for is not impacted, generally, you can get in if you GPA is at least 3.0 even with a low SAT score. 1000 SAT and 18 ACT are very low scores. There may be other CSU’s that might accept you if your GPA is over 3.0. Generally, the CSU’s near a large city (i.e., LA, SF, Long Beach, San Jose, Sacramento, Fresno, Chico) are difficult to get into, especially if they are impacted. Business is generally an impacted major. Community College is another alternative for 2 years and then transfer to a CSU. Good luck.
Also refer to the requirements in the SFSU website.

If your school is considered ‘local’ and you calculated your CSU GPA correctly you complete the a-g course with a C or better, you should be all set. Using the ACT formula from the Freshmen page linked above, your eligibility index is 780. That’s well above their threshold of 694.
SF State considers local applicants to be “students who have a local address and who graduated from a high school within Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo or Santa Clara counties”.
