I recently applied to Pitt's College of Business Administration with 3.71 GPA and an 1110/1630 SAT score I just got a letter asking for my mid-year grades. Is that not a good sign? This quarter I got a 3.909. Do I have a shot at being accepted?

You definitely have a shot at getting in. Since they asked for your midyear grades, the best thing you could do is maintain that 3.9. If you can, I would say you have a very good chance!

I was accepted on November 10th so this is based simply off my application and those of my friends, but it appears Pitt is becoming a little more competitive. Your SAT scores seem on the low side, but your GPA seems strong.

That being said the fact they didn’t accept you out-right and asked for your mid-year grades would make me think you’re right on the cusp. Try taking the SAT another time and raise your score 80-100 points.

Goodluck!
