I’ve been doing some research.
Pre Med & Pre Dentistry do have similar courses but the work that’s involved is a whole different playground.
Correct me if I’m wrong?
Basic Chemistry 1
General Chemistry 1
General Chemistry 2
Organic Chemistry 1
Organic Chemistry 2
Biochemistry
I’ve been told a student needs each one of those courses passed in order to go even higher.
Passed? Actually it’s better if you get an A in each or maybe a B.

My friend got a C in general and organic at UIC College because the courses were very tough.
Did your friend get accepted to medical or dental school?
Applicants to these programs need high GPA and standardized test scores to get to the door. Then great interview skills, and other things to get through the door.

Yes, pre-dentistry and pre-med do share a number of pre-reqs: gen chem, ochem, biochem, biology, physics, psychology, math, anatomy…
The foundational years (basic science years) of dental school and medical school have a similar overlap: embryology, molecular biology, anatomy, physiology, cellular biology, etc.
Clinical training is where medicine and dentistry diverge. Both require the same foundational knowledge.
