Is Revolution Prep Good?

Im not taking the course, but i was recently offered a chance to take a mock SAT for free by a friend who takes the course.

The mock SAT was exactly like the actual in terms of the following: timed properly, 9 sections, not 10 (no experimental) and an essay.

I found it to be fair and excruciating at one point. It was sent to the RevPrep offices, and our score reports were emailed the next day. On the actual SAT, i only scored a 1680, but on this one i scored an 1870.

M: 630 (on actual SAT i scored 570)
CR: 560 (on the actual, i scored 550)
W: 680 10 essay

I only reviewed a bit of math the night before with my Gruber's book.

I was wondering if this test was accurate or reliable? I dont want to feel like im doing better in certain sections if this test was too easy or RevPrep is terrible, etc., i just want to know how reliable/accurate is it?

If anyone else has taken this before, my test form code was 16G.

Bump

super bump

Take a blue book practice test and see for yourself did you improve.

while i appreciate the response, i want to know if anyone with experience thinks its accurate or reliable.

Its 1st prep test is intentionally hard so that they can get away with their “Money back guarantee”:
“If you have not taken an official SAT/ACT test six months or less before the start of your SAT/ACT, your Baseline Score will be the result of your first Revolution Prep practice test.”

They are bunch of scumbags. My son took his 1st SAT exactly 6 months before the class. He got worse score when he took the 2nd time 3 months after the class. He said the instructor was pretty bad, but yet his prep test scores “improved” during the class. Their prep tests were part of their scam.
