Anyone have any experience with this group? Son is taking SAT I's for the 2nd time in October. First time got 1920 (M700 CR630 W590 9 on essay).
They claim an average increase of 350 pts on the test, and I realize that the higher your score is the less you will increase. I think his scores are pretty good - not by cc's standards but he's not applying to Harvard either, so I would be ecstatic if his score went up by 200 points even -

I also realize that he can do this by himself, but I think he would be more motivated if he to account to someone.

My friends go to the local branch here and from what they tell me, it’s good. Apparently my friend went from his original 1980 to 2110 if that gives any indication.

the 5 tests are the only valuable thing; otherwise, the class sucks balls

you can do a better job at tutoring your son. Buy him the BB and RR and grubers and test test test! study for each day at least (bare minimum) and hour. then take a test on saturday. The first few times just forget about the time. After the fourth test add time. The most important part of this strategy is reviewing both correct and incorrect questions. There are a lot of patterns in the test so the more familiar you are with them, the more comfortable the test will be. I did this and easily raised my sores. Its amazing what a little studying can do

ps i am certainly not Harvard status, so this would be for average/above average students.

Its 1st prep test is intentionally hard so that they can get away with their “Money back guarantee”:
“If you have not taken an official SAT/ACT test six months or less before the start of your SAT/ACT, your Baseline Score will be the result of your first Revolution Prep practice test.”

They are bunch of scumbags. My son took his 1st SAT exactly 6 months before the class. He got worse score when he took the 2nd time 3 months after the class. He said the instructor was pretty bad, but yet his prep test scores “improved” during the class. Their prep tests were part of their scam.
