is the PSAT way easier than the SAT?

I just got my PSAT results from the Wednesday test and I got a 234 composite: CR 80, math 74, and writing 80. So if you convert to SAT scale by multiplying by ten (...that's how you do it right...?) then that would put me at a 2340 projected SAT.

But I found the PSAT to be really easy, and I've heard the SAT is hard and long. So will I probably not do as well? Also, my ACT score is 31, which doesn't really match up with the 234 PSAT, rough conversion wise.

So what is a better prediction of what I would make on the SAT and how hard should I expect it to be?

The best prediction is 2340. Some people go up, some down.
Personally, I go up. PSAT: 210; Official Practice Test (timed): 2180

The SAT is longer and has an essay, and the math is a little harder. PSAT scores are generally quite predictive of SATs unless there’s been a lot of time and/or studying.

Look at the results on the psat vs oct 1 SAT:
