ive heard multiple stories on the world history sat 2. some say its a complete joke, while others say it is harder than the actual ap exam. so for those of you who took the world history sat2, was it easy or hard? How did you prepare for it? what was your score? any suggestions of what topics i should focus on??..thanks!

im taking it june 2

it was relatively easy if u study hard, but some questions are kind of trivial. I took it last june and got 800

Aight..thx..people I Still Need More Advice!!!

hey juventus10, you're awesome

Hey, I'm taking it too this June. Which book are you using?

And from the people I've asked, it's relatively hard...but I think you can miss something like 10 questions and still get 800...?

The world history exam isn't that bad. I'd suggest reading Kaplan 2-3 times. I got a 720.

I got a 730 on the practice one. It was easier than American.

Do you need to take AP world History before you take the SAT 2 World History? Can you take the SAT 2 World if you've just completed advanced World Hist class but not AP world?

no, you just need to know alot about the world, in another words, it entails a lot of studying. I was going to take it this year (im a sophmore), but instead i decided to skip it, and take bio in october. I think i may take world at the end of next year or december of this year... im not sure yet.

HighHope i was in a similar situation as you last year. i was in modern world history, and signed up for the world history exam. my class only started at the renaissance. i bought the kaplan study book. i read it every night for about a half hour or an hour TAKING NOTES! this is important. otherwise i didnt retain the knowledge at all. i only studied for about 2 or 3 weeks, and got a 710. history is my worst subject. the questions in the kaplan book seemed harder than the ones on the actual test, which i found helpful because if you can get the hard ones in the book, you can get the easy ones on the test. i would strongly reccomend doing what i did.
