Is the Senior Year 3.0 GPA Requirement for UC's Cumulative

Hello all, so I heard that it's been stated that UC's require an UW GPA of 3.0 and failing to do so would mean a rescind. I am, however, a little confused as to what this means exactly.

Some of my info before I say anything else:
This year I am taking AP Physics B, AP Statistics, AP Government, and English for a total of 5 classes (AP Physics takes up 2 periods). Senioritis is starting to hit me hard and my grades are as follows:
My first semester, I received a 3.4 GPA, so that's 3 B's and 2 A's
For my second semester, I am at risk of getting a 2.8 GPA, so 2 C's in AP Physics B and another C from AP Statistics. My other two classes are almost guaranteed A's though.

So does anyone know if they mean a 3.0 GPA for each semester or Combined (the average of both)? I also heard that the policy of combined or individual semester GPA also varies depending on the UC but I couldn't find a reliable source of information on that. Furthermore, would having the 3 C's second semester result in a possible rescind?
Thanks all in advance.
