I’m looking for a good “safety school” pending I don’t get accepted into any of my desired schools upon my time to transfer. (I’m currently attending community college in Florida). Is UF nationally recognized as a good institution? How is their Computer Science program? What about their Biomedical Engineering program? As you can already guess, those are my majors. I’m looking to get a Master’s in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering. What resources does UF have? I conduct research on nanorobotics for medical research purposes. Do they have resources that can aid in that? How are their internship opportunities? What are the percentage of students who have a job in their field upon graduation? Thank you in advance for answering these questions!
Have you done any research? It’s one thing to ask current or former UF people about things only they would know, or would be able to shed additional light on. It’s another to ask them things you could probably look up yourself. And honestly, even if they ARE a current UF student, they’d probably have to look up what you are asking to be sure of giving you a correct answer. But, hopefully someone with the answers can weigh in, answering “How?” and “What?”, not to mention “IS?”
