I have sent off the CSS profile to the schools that require it, but some of them also require the noncustodial part. This was finished a while back but do I need to go somewhere else to send it to the schools as well, or does it go along with the CSS like how collegeboard sends all of your scores/info unless you choose otherwise?
Your non-custodial parent fills it out with their own login that the custodial parent can’t access if I remember right. Here is a link:

@intparent Does that mean I’ll have to get the non-custodial parent to send their portion to my schools as well? I can’t do it from my side?
The non-custodial parent is supposed to complete the non-custodial parent form. It’s set up that way so that it is confidential…and the custodial parent can’t see it.
How would YOU complete this? You need all the tax info, and asset info. You would have to get that from your non-custodial parent. Why would you do this extra step (which really needs to be done by the non-custodial parent). Let that person fill in the blanks themselves.
My question is purely how to send it off to schools. When I send a school my CSS profile, does said school also receive the non-custodial part? @thumper1 I didn’t complete any of the CSS myself, my dad did.
When your dad filled CSS Profile he was supposed to provide name, address and email of the non-custodial parent. The NC parent was supposed to get email with login and other instructions from CSS. You should contact your NC parent to find out if they received CSS email and acted on it.
The info is on the Collegeboard website.
Your custodial parent profile, does not contain any information about your non-custodial parent.
So when you submit your regular Profile…with your custodial parent…NOTHING about your non-custodial parent gets submitted to the colleges.
But as noted above…you do include info so you non-custodial parent will be able to complete th non-custodial parent form…and submit it.
@thumper1 Okay that’s what I wanted to know, thank you!
