<p>Our neighbor (a HS student) passed out resumes offering babysitting and/or tutoring at 10/hour. I know at least one mom hired her to read out loud with her second grader.</p>

<p>You can tutor, be a lifeguard, and/or work at a fast food restaurant.</p>

<p>Tutoring is a good option because you have more flexible scheduling.</p>
<p>BTW, I agree with College112, just make sure you won’t be a English tutor and you will be fine. ;)</p>
