Is there any particular teacher that ****es you off

If so please post your stories below

This ridiculous crazy art teacher. Her voice reminds me of how Umbridge’s would be from Harry Potter and she is insane. She copies and pastes texts from Wikipedia onto her powerpoint and will read every. single. sentence. from the powerpoint out loud. She’ll make the whole class stop working to read out loud the grade sheet, sometimes twice. Oh and she insists on doing “demos” where everyone has to stand up and go to the front of the room, sometimes for half an hour, and watch her draw (and might I add, she’s not that great of an artist herself but she makes excuses for her poor skills by saying we make her nervous and she can’t talk and draw at the same time). It is absolutely insane and her antics cause us to lose time that could be spent working. She makes us read out loud a textbook around a table; we spend about half the class actually working and she sets deadlines so incredibly close to the day she assigns something it’s impossible to do it well. I think she just takes a lot of pleasure in wielding power over other people, she definitely has her favorites and students she dislikes and it shows. jkadsj;flasjfklajsf just talking about it makes me insane

this makes me feel so much better lol my school generally has REALLY great teachers but this lady is just cray cray

my calc teacher took a point off my test for not simplifying something after she told me I didn’t have to simplify something that would have taken like 10 minutes to do. When I asked her about it she said she didn’t recall telling me that when in reality it was just the other day. I still got an A but I was ****ed from the principle-of-it-all sort of view.

She hates our class though because we don’t take her seriously nor pay attention to notes but we all still manage to get A’s even though her other classes struggle. She made us take that test a before the other classes, ***? How is that fair.

Any teacher who emphasizes to come to them (and not other classmates) when you need help, and then rages at the class when someone actually /does/ ask for help.

My physics teacher, who hasn’t taught us anything. As in, she gives us webassigns on things we have never learned nor even talked about, like pressure and universal gravitation. And yet we have a test on it tomorrow L O L … :(

I have a B in that damn class, and I may just let that be my B for the year, f’realz

My Chemistry teacher is ridiculous. It’s a regular class and based off of what I’ve heard from my friends in honors, their class is way easier. Basically, my teacher over complicates simple concepts and makes them even more confusing and complicated. And for each chapter, we have a set of like 40-70 online questions (half of which she doesn’t go over) and the class average for it is usually around a 60%. I manage around an 80% usually which is like amazing. Speaking of averages, she said the class average is like a C- (I have a solid B, but I want an A really badly because it’s my only regular class) which is really surprising to her because she designs the class for you to fail and she expects nearly everyone to get a D. I hate her (as a teacher) so much. And she’s ruined any chances of me taking Physics next year, lmao.

My honors chem teacher last year. At the very beginning of the year she assigned us lab partners to do a lab. I was with some kid a year older than me who I didn’t know. He seemed smart enough so I let him do the write up. Turns out he had no clue what he was doing and we got a 10% on it. The teacher said that she gave us 10% out of pity, it should’ve been a 0. I approached her after class and asked her if I could redo it. I explained that I didn’t do any of the work. She said that it was a group project, and we should’ve been working together in the first place. I find it very hard to have good charisma as lab partners when teachers assign partners, I never talked to my partner once before we did the lab. At the end of the year I had an 89.4, I bet if I re-did that lab I would’ve had an 89.5 or higher, and consequently got an A- instead of a B+.
