Is there any way I DON"T get into UF Honors?

I am an instate student who would like to go to UF honors. I am not sure if UF's national merit package still includes automatic admission to the honors college, but if not, please post on my chances. If they still do, just say so.

Thanks in advance!

My stats are:

SATI: 2280, 770 CR, 780M, 730W
SAT II: 750 Chem, 770 U.S., 750 Math IIc
ACT: 35
PSAT: 229, national merit semifinalist for sure, finalist probably

Rising senior in IB program

6 ap classes taken, 6 in senior year, as well as IBs
Senior year: Macro, Comp. Gov., Stat, Calc BC, English Lit., Bio

IB Chem SL: 5
IB Spanish SL:6

APUSH: 5
AP Euro: 4
AP Calc AB:5
AP Eng Lang: 4
AP Chem: 5
AP Spanish: I had to take an alt alt this year, and Collegeboard never wrote an exam for it . I would have gotten a 3 though.

I have a 3.6 unweighted GPA and a 4.3 weighted GPA, 4.1 as calculated by UF. I have taken just about every course honors since freshman year and have gotten a's and b's in all of them, and have taken the max number of ap's my school offers. However, I hope the admissions people take this into account, as I go to an EXTREMELY hard school, ranked #2 or #3 in the country. Also, my rank is quite low, 46/350 (I think). But I'm not even sure if my school sends rank to colleges

What are my chances of getting in?

Wow... you are pretty much in. you've got outstanding test scores and activities. Just make sure that you show a genuine interest in UF through your essay while applying and you'll get in plus getting invited into the honors program.

You're an excellent candidate (as in you're in imo). You qualify for the honors program with your scores.

You go to Stanton College Prep, so your rank is understandable, UF knows which high schools are competitive (and a 46/350 is still pretty good).

Thanks, guys. That really makes me feel a lot better, as I am currently making the rounds of the semi-elite schools(UNC, Duke, UVA, G'town, Tufts, Amherst),
and they make me feel like **** when they say that "24% of our incoming class are valedictorians." or something crazy like that.

Also, do you know if UF's national merit package includes automatic admission to honors? that would assuage the last of my nightmares of not being accepted anywhere and crying myself to sleep in my parent's basement at the age of 40.

Wow, I've known kids who've gotten into the Honors college with half the EC you have. Plus, you seem very well rounded. Pretty sure you're a shoe in.

Yeah, admissions know which schools have a really competitive class. Stanton in Jville, Suncoast in WPB, and Eastside in Gville being some of them.

Yeah, pending admission to UF (which you'll probably do) you'll be in Honors, almost for sure. I was VERY surprised to see at my preview session some of the honors kids with 2380, 2370, and loads of 2300+s. I thought it was real rare, and I'm up there with my scores, to see people with scores like mine. If you looked around at my preview session, you'd think a 2300+ would be as common as a 1500 (500x3). You've definitely got the scores, you're not even a marginal admit to honors.

The only thing that it's really contingent upon is your admission to UF, which I'm about 98% sure you'll do (assuming all of the information you provided is true).
