Is this a good book for Math 2??

I got the only copy of:

"The Official SAT Subject Tests - Math 1 & 2"

by the collegeboard.

It contains 2 tests for Math 1 and 2 tests for Math 2, also explanations, but no real "guide" type help (only general overviews)

What would be a good book to to use in conjugation with this book?

Hey Sonic,

I just took the Math 2 exam today, and I felt that Barrons prepared me for it!

I have to say, normally I stay away from Barrons because of its extraneous information, but it really served me well on this exam. I’d urge you to get a copy- it gives a good review of the material, and it is only about 100-150 pages of review (the bulk of the book is practice exams- they give you 6 and 1 diagnostic).

I took 1 practice exam from the official guide and got an 800 after going through Barrons twice.

Best of luck!

It’s a great book to see how you’d do on the real test. However, as Guitarhero said, Barron’s is the best book for review. It has a reasonably good explanation of concepts and six tough tests at the end. I used both books and feel like I got an 800 today.

Just saying… DONT USE KAPLANS!!! the tests on kaplans is fairly simple compared to the ones on the math lvl 2…

Thanks all, i will buy barrons!

Use Barrons, it teaches you everything and tests you so hard it will make life much easier test day.
