I recently got like a newspaper-like page in the mail with "Published by the Office of Undergraduate Admission, fordham stories is an introduction to Fordham University and the University community" on the front below my name and address.

Inside, there's stories about stuff like "Basketball on the Brain" and "Gabelli Student Makes His Own Road in China."

Is this any sort of sign for the big day (December 13th)?

My son got the same thing…I believe it is just general. Not to shatter your hopes, but we are even getting applications in the mail for colleges that he has already applied to! Good luck to you SeasonsOfLove! Remember…it all works out…

I actually think seasonsoflove may be correct. I took a closer look at my daughter’s copy and on the back of it, the information seems geared towards accepted students…admitted student days and President’s preview dates … and there are a few other things there regarding the admissions timeline. Just my opinion. I remember my older daughter receiving things like this via both US Mail and email from schools she was eventually admitted to right before the decisions were announced. Maybe a coincidence??? Won’t be too much longer now! Good luck to all :)

@Agador That’s what my sister and I were thinking since there is an awful lot of information for admitted/deferred students, since it did list the regular decision date but not the application deadline for regular decision. Of course I won’t be depending too much on this but it is a good sign!

My son received EA acceptance two weeks ago and he just got that sane mailing referencing accepted students days…I’d take it as a good sign. Good luck. Fordham is a wonderful place.

Seems cassie1234 has not applied yet and received so it looks like everyone was mailed the paper. Did everyone get an email last night to check portal on December 13?

To answer the question, whether everyone who has received an admittance announcement email also received the recent informational snail mail – my daughters didn’t get it, They’ve had 2 emails, each, saying they will be admitted. Didn’t see them this morning, but will ask them whether they received the email telling them to check the portal on the 13th.

Spoke too soon – I guess we have slow mail. The “Fordham Stories” arrived today. Have to agree with those who say it is general information and distribution. Very nice, though.
