<p>A 140 point improvement in 4 months isn’t anything to write home about but an improvement is an improvement nonetheless.</p>
<p>I think breaking 2000 is noteworthy, at least for yourself. I increased by 270 points so I was really happy with that.</p>
<p>That’s a great improvement! I think you should continue to study and retake if you plan to apply for some top universities, and even if you are not, a higher SAT score = scholarships from the universities. Do you and @astults13 mind shedding some light on how you did it?</p>
<p>@aares1: well it really depends on where you don’t do so well. My CR score was low, I spent a few weeks studying vocab lists I found online. That was really helpful for me.</p>
<p>I didn’t do anything for math. I just think I got lucky because the questions were all really easy. </p>
<p>For writing I just read tips from other people. What I found is that readers are looking for one-two solid examples that you can give a lot of details about. My essay went from a 7 to 12.</p>
