I am currently a sophomore in high school, and quarter 1 is about to end this thursday, and I have the worst grades ever. So, theres are my grades :

AP WORLD HISTORY - B

AP ENVIRONMENTAL SCI.- B+

READING- A

CHEMISTRY I HONORS- B+

ENGLISH II HONORS- A

AP PSYCHOLOGY- B

ALGEBRA 2 HONORS- C+ =(

some people, have harder classes than me and have straight A's.

AP World history can go to an A or may drop to a D., Enviro will probably go up to an A.

Reading stays. Chemistry, might get to an A. English May drop to a C or may remain an A.

AP Psych. may get to an B+, but this is a very unlikely chance. Algebra 2, is practically done, it wont change.

That kinda sucks. C in Algebra II? Step up.

The C is the only issue, other then that you are fine.

They’re not terrible but I’d keep the eye out for Algebra 2.

Tips:
[ul][]Khan academy (that’s what made the difference between an A or a C for me).
[]Listen in class and don’t be afraid to ask for help from your teacher. I was the type of kid who was VERY unconfrontational and would just nod my way through lessons while I was slowly dying on the inside.
[]Recognize/ address your faults during the halfway mark of each grading period (we have 6 Six weeks) if not each week and tell yourself “what could I’ve done to have improved this”
[]If you’re not the type of kid who can’t understand topics the first time, STUDY!!![/ul]

I can’t really say much of anything else considering that I don’t know your specific studying habits/ weaknesses but good luck with sophomore year, do the best that you can, and always try to aim for higher grade!

In comparison to other people, they might not be the best. BUT, as cheesy as it sounds if you’re doing your best - there excellent grades!

That being said … AP World and AP Enviro could probably get up a little higher. I feel you with Chemistry and Algebra II though.

Nah, it isn’t bad. You’re taking some pretty hard classes.

Be careful with Algebra 2 though. I struggled in that class, but using Khan Academy and YouTube (look up PatrickJMT, he does a lot of math videos but mostly Functions, Stats, Trig and Algebra 1+2, he was my favorite). If all else fails, get a tutor. I was so against getting a tutor, but I went for getting a C- in Trig to a B+ after getting one. There is no shame in having a tutor
