We just got final grades posted for my Junior year

Physics 91
AP Lang/Comp 90
Latin III 93
Algebra 2 Hon. 88
AP US History 86
Ceramics 98
Gym 91

And I actually put a lot of effort in this year. I was always either at work or studying, so I'm freaking out over these 2 Bs. I don't even go to a difficult or competitive school, that's what makes it worse. Plus I'm already in a delayed math curriculum, taking Algebra 2 as a junior, so getting a B in that class might as well be a C

Is anyone else disappointed with their final grades?

You’re going to end up on the streets because of this.

JK. Alg II honors and APUSH are some of the hardest classes schools offer, passing them with a B and a B+ is pretty successful. And wow, aceing Lang and Comp? High props for that.

Alg 2 junior year is the average where I live (but i’m guessing you’re not shooting for just average).

Don’t sweat, whatever you did sophomore year and whatever you do senior year will probably make up for anything you dont like

Well, my school doesn’t let you take AP classes until Junior year, and even then you can only take up to 3. I’m taking Calc AB next year with 3 other APs.

Last year I finished all A minuses in 4 honors courses. I know they’re not awful grades, and most people in my classes don’t even do that well, but I guess I’ve been on this site for too long, and have set my expectations a lot higher haha

I’m looking at Reed College, Occidental, Colgate, and other LACs with good economics programs (B of arts not sciences). I’m also a minority, so I guess my grades will take me a little further than usual.
