<p>I was contacted for an alumni interview and am now wondering if it was rude to ask for an interview on a Saturday/Sunday.... I know alumni are volunteers to help out, but is asking for an interview on a weekend kind of like invading into their personal life/weekend? Or is it totally acceptable?</p>

<p>It’s totally fine! I did one of my interviews at my interviewer’s son’s basketball game!</p>
<p>I only interview on the weekends.</p>
<p>If the interviewer gives you some dates to choose from and it doesn’t include weekends, then it’s fine to ask if weekend dates are available and maybe give a reason. If you are asked to provide possible dates, then it’s perfectly fine to indicate weekend.</p>
