<p>I'm doing summer classes this June and am thinking about taking Chem 1A and Math 1A. </p>
<p>Is this too much work? I've already taken calculus several times (lol), so I think I can handle it despite the new theoretical side that I haven't seen before. </p>
<p>Chemistry isn't my favorite subject, so I'd like to get it out of the way and work my butt off in the summer to fulfill the req.</p>

<p>well for freshman summer classes you have to choose one class from list A and another from list B, and both are on list A

<p>berkeley’s chemistry classes are notorious for being very difficult.</p>

<p>OH, I’m in L&S right now but looking to transfer into CoE so I want to get most of the technical classes under my belt by the time I transfer.</p>

<p>Well the way I see it, I’m already on break due to some intense senioritis (haven’t done anything in my classes all year).</p>
<p>I’m reassessing my decision and think that just math 1a and chem 1a would be good. I can put off english n1a until fall 09 i suppose. </p>

<p>truly am wishing you good luck with that plan, but also a bit skeptical as most Cal entrants were top of their classes, high-GPA study experts but the results in classes when here are quite, quite different. You are in a group of real peers for the first time, all capable of amassing 5’s on every AP and of earning A in virtually every class in HS.</p>
<p>you’re gonna work your ass off over the summer. and then end up working your ass off over the fall. and then spring. senioritis + summer = best break i’ve ever had. enjoy it.</p>
