is this true?

okay im out of state and it said to be even considered i would need a 3.4 gpa?? idk if i was reading it wrong or if its true... please let me know. i have a 3.3 and an act score of 28.

The new requirement is a 3.0 minimum GPA. Don't worry! If you prove your worth in every other area then a 3.0 GPA is still enough to get in. I'm sure of it.

The 3.0 minimum GPA is for CA residents (it went up from 2.8). If you're out of state, then you need a 3.4 GPA. :(

Sorry, but it's true. You can try to get accepted through special consideration, that's a lot of paperwork.

Are the GPAs used weighted or unweighted?

UC weighted--meaning 10-12th grades with only 8 weighted courses.

*8 weighted semesters (or four two-semester courses)

They only calculate grades 10 and 11.
