<p>I was told once that it's looked upon unfavorably by law firms if you go to law school at the same university where you got your undergraduate degree. Is this true and if so, why?</p>
<p>You mean it's bad to graduate from Harvard College and then have a degree from Harvard Law School? It worked out ok for Chief of Justice John G. Roberts.</p>

<p>Why would they? What sense would that make?</p>
<p>I couldn't think of any good reason either, so I figured maybe it was just a myth.</p>
