Bump…

I would say yes…you’d likely be accepted with a scholarship and invitation to the honors program.

Yeah it’s definitely a safety. Sk8rmom is right, you’ll probably even get into the honors program there.

Thanks guys for the feedback!

you might even be considered for Pres Scholarship which is top 25-30 in honors after interview. This scholarship is full tuition,R & BD, books and I think there are partial scholarships also.

I believe the cutoff for Presidential Scholarship consideration is 1400 SAT and the average SAT of those awarded is much higher (1500+). You can find the exact info on UB’s website.

Yeah, Presidential is 1470 SAT or 33 ACT, plus 95 unweighted high school average. If one uses the College Board scale (not sure if this is what Honors uses or not), a 3.62 unweghted is around a 90.

According to the admissions website, last year the mean SAT for Presidential was 1503 and average was 98 unweighted.

And as far as I know, there is no interview for the Presidential Scholarship. Unless it changed since I got it two years ago, there were 2 essays and submission of a HS writing piece required, no interview though.

You’d likely get the Provost Scholarship though ($3k/year, I believe).

@user_007: where did you find that information? I looked on their site and could not find anything like that. thank you.
