I mean that's basically it...is wake ultra-conservative?

i'll be a freshman this fall and i'm a libertarian.

No one would ever describe Wake as a liberal place. But I haven't found it to be too conservative for me (and I'm very liberal). College Democrats is a pretty active group on campus (borntorun, I think there's also a College Libertarians if you're interested), and there're other organizations where you're bound to run into many other non-conservatives. And of course the vast majority of the faculty (at least judging by their bumper stickers) is liberal.

95% of college professors are liberal. Most college students are usually pretty liberal also. Then comes the real world, in which most people end up not wanting to pay taxes to support some lazy crack addict who is out of rehab for the tenth time, so they go conservative.

Your analysis is truly compelling. [/sarcasm]

well..I reallllllly hope that 'joev' does not consider themself liberal..in ANY WAY...because that is absolutely ridiculous and definitely not an accurate depiction of welfare. ANYWHO, I think I have come to terms with the fact that there will be quite a lot of conservatives at Wake, but as I have been doing more and more research about the students at Wake, I also think there will be a good amount of non-conservatives...as long as EVERYONE doesn't have the same opinions as 'joev', I will be just fine

You can count on at least one other person not sharing joev's views, lol.

my s will make two.

And three. And I can safely say that my roommate will be four.
